THE PROCESS
Becoming a resident at Hepburn House
1Eligibility for Aged Care
Your first step is to contact My Aged Care to arrange an Aged Care Assessment. In many cases an assessment is done in the comfort of your home with your family or carer there for support.
The result of your assessment determines if you are eligible for Residential Care and the level of support you will receive. It can take up to three months for a meeting to be arranged. If you are currently receiving an aged care package, your service provider can help you understand your eligibility for Residential Care. |
2Enquire about life at Hepburn House
We understand navigating Aged Care Residential facilities can be daunting and the pricing options can be complicated. If you are considering Hepburn House for yourself or a loved one, speak to us about the room options available and we can guide you through our pricing plans.
We recommend seeking independent financial advice when you are considering residential aged care to understand your personal situation and the best payment option for you. For information and guidance on financial matters visit My Aged Care’s financial advice page. |
3Visit Hepburn House
Arrange a visit to see if Hepburn House is suited to your loved one’s needs. You can view firsthand the living options, the homely atmosphere, the beautiful setting and most importantly see how the staff and residents go about their day.
